My Balloon Car

My Balloon Car
On Thursday 4 August room 2 year sixes made recycled cars.
The objects I used were:
-The bottom of a ice-cream container
-milk carton lids
-tooth picks
-two straws
-two balloons
-red duct tape
-rubber bands

First I got the ice-cream container, then cut the ice-cream container to the level I wanted, then I got two tooth picks and four wheels.then I stuck the toothpick through the container, then put the four wheels through the toothpicks, then I had to make them move so I made a bigger holes in the wheels to make them move and then put rubber bands on the toothpicks on all of them. Then got duct tape that is red and put it on the floor of the balloon car. After that I put the balloon on the red duct tape and put tape on the straw to hold the balloon. After that a couple of us raced our balloon cars and it was a practice to see if it worked and moved and some did and some didn’t and we finished them.

  1. HI MADDIE. I really like this blog post I like how you have got a picture to show us what your balloon car looked like but I also liked how you said what materials you needed and step by step. The thing that I thought you need to work on is to use a different color for your writing so it is easier to read. BYE FROM SHIALLA

  2. Hello Madison. My name is Mackenzie Clark from Grey Main School. I really like how you included a photo in your blog post. Maybe next time you could change the red, yellow and blue because it can be hard to read. I also liked how you had instructions for your car. I like how you used descriptive words in your writing.
